Build Your Financial Future with Confidence
Our structured savings education program runs from September 2025 through February 2026, giving you practical skills to manage your money better and make smarter decisions about your financial future.
Get Program DetailsWhat You'll Actually Learn
We don't do theory for theory's sake. These modules focus on real situations Australians face when trying to save money and plan ahead.
Understanding Your Money Flow
Most people have no idea where their money goes each month. We'll show you how to track it properly and spot the patterns that matter. You'll learn to identify unnecessary expenses without feeling like you're depriving yourself.
Building Emergency Reserves
Life throws curveballs. Car repairs, medical bills, unexpected job changes. We'll help you figure out how much you really need set aside and create a realistic timeline to get there based on your actual income.
Smart Savings Goals
Saving without a clear purpose rarely works. Whether it's a house deposit, holiday, or retirement nest egg, we'll teach you how to break big goals into manageable monthly targets that don't feel overwhelming.
Comparing Financial Products
Savings accounts, term deposits, and investment options all have trade-offs. You'll learn to read the fine print, understand fees, and choose products that align with your timeline and risk tolerance.
How the Program Actually Works
Starting September 2025, we'll meet twice monthly for interactive workshops at our Greystanes centre. Each session runs 90 minutes and focuses on one specific aspect of money management.
Between sessions, you'll have homework. Not busywork, but actual exercises using your own finances. You'll bring questions based on your real situation, and we'll work through them together as a group.
- Twice-monthly evening sessions fitting around work schedules
- Small groups of 12-15 participants for proper discussion
- Take-home worksheets you'll actually use in daily life
- Access to follow-up support via email between sessions
- Certificate of completion for those attending 80% of workshops
The entire program spans six months because genuine financial habits take time to develop. Quick fixes don't work. This is about building skills that stick with you long after the course ends.
What Past Participants Say
We ran a pilot version of this program in late 2024. Here's what some participants told us about their experience.
"I thought I was decent with money, but this program showed me blind spots I didn't know existed. The section on comparing savings accounts alone saved me about $400 a year in fees I was paying for no reason. Worth every minute."
"Best thing was the group format. Hearing how other people tackled similar problems gave me ideas I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Plus it kept me accountable. I finally built an emergency fund that actually covers three months of expenses."
"The instructors never made me feel stupid for asking basic questions. They explained everything in plain English without jargon. Six months later, I'm still using the budget template we created in week two. Simple but effective."
